2018 has come to an end and it’s time to look forward to the new year and the exciting prospects that lie ahead.

This year will see the publication of my first book, ‘Urban Photography’, which will go on sale in May. The book is a practical guide to photography in the urban environment, predominantly featuring my photographs. It also looks at how some of the masters of photography approach the city. You can pre order it through the shop on this site, or via any good book stores.

I’ve made a change to my working pattern in 2019, in order to take a step forward with my freelance photography. I’m looking forward to having more time to focus on commissions as well as developing some personal projects.

The following are a selection of my favourite photographs from 2018, which include my home city, Birmingham, as well as a few European destinations. It was a great year for me, with the highlight being recognition of my astrophotography in the Astronomy Photo of they Year awards. My shot, ‘Belly Button’, made the shortlist in the ‘Our Moon’ category and got a feature in the annual book.
